Saturday or Sunday Kids Birthday Party?

Starting to plan my daughter's 2nd birthday party. It's going to be at an indoor play place and there are lots of options as far as day and times. Which would you prefer for your child (and yourself)? Saturday? Sunday? It's 1.5 hours -- 55 minutes of play and then either bagels or pizza (depending on time) and cake. Thanks for your input!

Does your 2 year old nap? I know my toddler is a disaster if she doesn't nap, so I am partial to parties that wont cut into her nap schedule. Between 2-3 years old, I liked 11:00 parties. Not too early, but not right smack in the middle of the day.

I'd rather a Saturday than a Sunday because it's nice to still have another day off to get us ready before another crazy work week.
Morning or afternoon are both fine, but steer clear of the common nap time (noon to 2 I think for most young kids)... I'd do either early like 10:30 or later like 3:30.

Saturday, early.

I always appreciate an early party, around 10am on Saturday.

Gives us the rest of the day.

Sunday mornings (prior to noon) we ALWAYS decline if it conflicts with church.

Now mid-day parties, we still go, but I hate when they are in the middle of the day bc it kind of ruins the entire day.

Anything between 12-3 would not work for us as DS (2.5) naps sometime in that time slot. To me, 10 am is ideal. Either day would work.

I prefer afternoon I picked saturday but sunday would work too.

Weekends are the only days we have to sleep/stay in. I hate having to get up and have to be ready to get out of the house early on the weekends.

With that said I would still attend the party and i have hosted 10AM parties on saturday and Sundays because I have had no other choice

I prefer Saturday or Sunday mornings so I still have my afternoons. Personally, I usually go for Sunday morning because that gives me Saturday to prep.

Mornings are best. Sunday afternoons/evenings are the worst.

I work on Saturdays so I always prefer a Sunday party. Like others have said, earlier is better since most kids nap in the afternoon.

at that age, i think you almost have to do morning, because most kids that age nap sometime from 12-3... or if they don't nap, they get a crabby in that timeframe LOL
so i would say around 10AM saturday... or sunday, depending on if a lot of people you're inviting go to church or not. 10 AM is a good time, i think- not too early on the weekend, and doesn't cut into the rest of the day too much.

just adding that my son is 6- and the past couple years we had his party on sunday afternoons form like 2-4. (we don't have to worry about nap time at his age). and we had a bunch of people tell us that was a good time. its after church, after lunch, and over early enough that they can still relax for the rest of the night before they work on monday....
