Freezer to crock pot meals
Has anyone done this? I'm expecting in February and want to get a jump on meal prep so I don't have to much when the baby arrives. A girl can dream right?
I've done a little searching on Pinterest and Google and I find a lot of recipes with pork or beef. I'm looking for mostly chicken recipes and maybe a few beef options.
I would greatly appreciate any of your own recipes or a link to some!

Freezer to crock pot meals
I use my crockpot a lot to cook meals and freeze them that way. Then just defrost overnight and reheat. I haven't had much luck doing the opposite. I freeze taco meat, pasta sauce, meatballs, meatloaf, pulled pork, chicken fried rice.

Re: Freezer to crock pot meals
I have a vacuum sealer and it's awesome. I cook massive batches and freeze in individual meals.
I do: Chili - bison or turkey will tons of veggies and beans Meatballs (Italian, turkey, Asian, etc) Chicken enchilada meat (use in tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas) Veggie lasagna Shepards pie Chicken pot pie (without crust) Veggie soup or chicken soup Pulled pork (can do dark chicken) Stuffed shells Ground meat with onion/carrots/peppers that I add to jarred sauce for pasta Sloppy joe meat Taco meat
I did this with DD and it was great to have the meat cooked. I made an easy salad, simple steamed veggie or even frozen side and it was really helpful.
I don't find chicken breast the best in the crock pot but like the thighs. You can do most of the above with ground chicken.
You can grill chicken and freeze. That is a great topper for salad or anything. I buy it this way as a staple at my house.
