UPDATE: Decided! Now I'm starving lol! - Who is bored and hungry? Help me choose the menu.

OK here is what we decided! (It's an adult-only party)
-Pecan salad
-julienne veggies
-meatballs
-calamari arrabbiatta (has pepper and spicy) debating on doing regular
-penne melenzane (has roasted eggplant, marsala plum tomoato sauce and ricotta)
-cavatelli napoltiano (has crumbled sausage, cremini miushrooms, sun dried tomatoes
-(and we are going to add a tray of alla vodka)
-chicken marsala
-chicken madeira
-file of sole oreganata

Just going by what I would pick for my family
Fried calamari, chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks
Rigatoni alla vodka and tortellini alfredo
Chicken parm, shrimp oregenata and veal marsala

This is what I would get:
Caesar Salad
Apps: Calamari Fritti, Mozarella Di Casa, and then either Meatballs or Chicken Fingers- depending on if there's a lot of kids.
Pasta:
Rigatoni Alla Vodka
Cavatelli Bolognese
Entrees:
Chicken Francese
Sausage and Peppers
Eggplant Rollatini

With my family, I would choose:
Tossed salad
Apps: mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, baked clams
Pasta: rigatoni a la vodka, tortellini Alfredo
Entrees: chicken parmigiana or Francese, eggplant rollatini, filet of sole oregenata
It all sounds delicious!

Everyone always picks Cesar salads and it's so disappointing to me!
I can't eat Cesar salad so it always ends up getting sent back at events like this.
I once asked a waitress if she could take it back and rinse all the crap off it so I could eat the lettuce and croutons. LOL
I feel like tossed salads are more universal and also has more variety in it. Just lettuce and croutons is not a salad to me

This but, I'd do Chicken Francese since some people aren't big mushroom fans (not that there aren't other choices but, I worked in catering for awhile and Chicken Francese was one of our most popular dishes - although my least favorite).
