cupcakes at a kid party
What do you usually do if you're serving cupcakes at a kid party at place? Get just enough for kids? Get enough for kids plus one adult? I'd like to offer adults cupcakes too, but don't want to get stuck with a ton leftover.

Re: cupcakes at a kid party
For DD 5th birthday I order cupcakes for adutls and was left with a ton of them
for DS birthday that just past I ordered enough cupcakes for just the kids and then order a $15 cake from Bjs for the adults. I had about half the cake left over. But for the little money I spent on it I was OK with that

I usually do a cupcake pull apart cake from Shoprite in Patchogue. It is 19.99 for 24 cupckaes and 29.99 for 36 cupcakes. I will usually just do the 36 cupcakes and have plenty. Or order a custom cupcake cake from there and then when I go to pick up they have pre designed cupcake trays for 9.99/12. It's a good deal and they taste good.
