I don't think people wrote them at my office. Just told our boss we were leaving and they started the paperwork with HR. At least I didn't write one, lol. It was a pretty big company.

Just google basic resignation letters and put a personal spin on it. That's what I did. Short and sweet and praised my immediate supervisor for teaching me xyz blah blah

Dear Douchey McDoucherson,
You sir/madam (we're still not sure what you are) are a waste of your father's sperm. I left a dildo in your desk drawer so you can go fukc yourself. May you always have an itchy assshole.
Just kidding. Just write that you are resigning from such and such position that you've worked at for such and such time frame and your official last day is such and such. Mention that you enjoyed working there and it was a difficult decision to make but after much consideration you feel that it is the best move for your career. Thank your higher ups for teaching you, training you, whatever and wish them continued success in their career. Bla bla bla yada yada yada. Even if you mean none of it and you think they're the jolliest bunch of asssholes this side of the nuthouse and you'd sooner piss on the deadbeats if they were on fire. Gotta play nice.
