Any salad suggestions for Christmas
I was told to bring a salad for Christmas. I usually do a spinach, dark leafy lettuce with walnuts, apples and goat cheese with a raspberry vinaigrette but looking for something different.
Any suggestions?

We're Italian and always do our version of an antipasto salad -- romaine lettuce, cucumbers, celery, black olives, cubed salami, cubed pepperoni, cubed provolone, pepperoncini peppers, croutons, sliced beets (weird, but so tasty), tossed with a balsamic vinaigrette.

Mesculin mix, thinly sliced pears, dried cranberries, thinly sliced red onion, shredded carrot, walnuts or pecans, and gorgonzola cheese.
Toss with a white balsamic dressing

I like your usual salad! Yummy! We do seafood salad for Christmas Eve, along with a regular mixed greens, cucumbers, and tomato salad for the one person at our table that doesn't eat fish. There's a pin on pinterest for a holiday salad with greens, pears, pomegranate seeds, pecans, and brie.

Any salad suggestions for Christmas
Thanks everyone. My cousin texted me to make sure I'm bringing my usual salad so I have it easy.

do you just cut the apples up into small chunks? do you put them in lemon or anything?

For the salad I cheat and just buy the precut apple slices that my toddler munches on. I either cut those pieces in half or leave them whole depending how much time I have. No, I don't put them in lemon or anything.
