Donald J. Trump ? @realDonaldTrump Unless you catch "hackers" in the act, it is very hard to determine who was doing the hacking. Why wasn't this brought up before election? 8:21 AM - 12 Dec 2016
So now Donald knows more about cybersecurity than people who have dedicated decades of their lives to it... it's great having a president who is so yugely smart...
*sigh*
Um the report says they did know about it BEFORE the election. haha Um does that mean he didn't know about it before the election so it must not be true?
He knew and tweeted about it in October. Just another bold faced lie from Don the Con.
Um, yeah I know. That's the point. So you can't have it both ways. It was ironic sarcasm.
Can't cry foul when it was *IN* the same report that I was BEFORE the election. How dumb do we look exactly?
To answer the "we didn't want her" comment. for the millionth time. MY town voted blue but the country isn't based on popular vote for a REASON. I, for one, am VERY grateful that we don't leave the vote of our President up to just the Californians.
Why is this so hard to get? I have never once said 'if it had been the other way around' because frankly it doesn't matter. The point is popular vote isn't how our presidency is chosen, period. She lost because within each state she was NOT wanted by popular vote within each state by state.

This whole thing about Trump and Russia involvement
I am seriously troubled that he is not going to address his business conflicts of interest until after the Electoral College meets. This is terrible and I cannot believe he just gets away with this.

He won - we all know that. So how about making an argument as to why you still believe HIS decisions have been good ones. Stop bashing Hillary - she is not part of the equation anymore. Talk about what is happening NOW - how Trump will do what is right by ALL of us.

It's much better to leave the vote of our president to three counties in Florida.

WTF! I dare a Trump supporter to defend this! He is going to be leading the free world in 6 weeks but having Kanye over for coffee or whatever is what our leader should be doing please those who voted for him explain to me how you can still think he is the right choice.

Well, they're having a hard time dressing Mrs. Trump as first lady so maybe they're calling in Kanye and his 2017 fashion line as reinforcement.

No singers want to perform for his inauguration coming up. They are having trouble finding performers.
Perhaps Kanye wants to do it?

Kanye learned that acting crazy and saying inappropriate things can gain you the presidency, so maybe he's looking for pointers? Kanye 2020 can't do worse than Trump.

I can just see it now. Who wore it better Kim or the First Lady? Please someone make it stop. Make it stop!

Kanye is another distraction. This is what you should really pay attention to: Turkey Arrests Trump's Business Partner It references a bigger Newsweek story.

Ironically HRC loyalists will seriously think that anyone who didn't vote for Her Royal Craziness would have voted for her anyway regardless of leaked emails. Because seriously that's why the vote went to Trump?
I just don't get it. There's so much pointing the finger about why Trump won, how he won, who let him win. Why are we still debating this crap? He won! Move on! He won because we didn't want HER.
DNC put all their eggs in the basket of that b!tch and they lost. They burned Bernie and flaunted it. Then they fall over in shock when they lost? The Media bought into the idea the major cities and population stood to reflect the major of the country. They did not. Yes she won the popular vote by a landslide because of concentration of people. But the map is awfully red. She lost because she didn't reach out to the common people. She didn't offer compassion to the problem they saw. She didn't address the status quo. Instead she literally offered up more of the same.
When they can't blame anyone else, we go to Russia. So lets go global in this blame game? This is getting embarrassing all the way around. Meanwhile, on the global stage, EU is breaking up and other peoples are having issues similar to our own. Wonder how long before they blame our election for the cause.
You are missing the point in my opinion, which is a foreign nation may have manipulated and interfered with our democracy to install their favored candidate. That isn't a deeply disturbing thought to you? (my guess as to their motivation is that Dump is so f*cking dumb and has so many conflicts of interest, it'd be easy to make him into putin's puppet). Who knows if they actually won him the election and what would have happened otherwise. Irrelevant. I despise hrc and the DNC. This is not about them, why she lost or any of that. It's about security of and confidence in our democratic process and it deserves a complete investigation. If republicans and democrats can't agree on that, this country is broken beyond repair.
Exactly. How does anyone, regardless of party, defend a foreign government interfering with our election?!

This makes us look divided and like fools. Our politicians need to unite more than ever or else we are going to be played and taken advantage of.

As a strange silver lining, I was so gratified to see a sane, bipartisan effort to investigate the hacking. I can't remember when the last time was that I could say "sane" and "bipartisan" in the same sentence as "congress."

Politics as we've never seen it before. And probably never will again. No, I mean "hopefully".
