IT Help
I'm hoping someone can help me. My son is working on his homework (online) and a few keys (the "?" and "/") are acting like <return> command. I can't find anything online about this. Is this a virus?

Re: IT Help
Are any other keys doing that as well? I would check all of the keys physically near the <enter> key. It could one of a few things.
There is something physically in the keyboard (crumbs, paperclip, etc) that is connecting those keys together.
There is something electronically connecting the keys. I've taken apart quite a few keyboards over the years, and I've learned that several keys share some connections.
I've seen both of these problems. Sometimes, if you're lucky, cleaning the keyboard will fix the problem. You may need to pop off some keys to get to the problem, but just turning the laptop or keyboard upside down and shaking a bit may be enough. Blowing air may also work.
