My 6 year old still plays with a corelle doll we got his little sister. Perfect size for a 2 year old. Buy a premie outfit in blue... though DS says his doll is a girl.

Ds had the boy doll from IKEA. It was soft and looked like him. We got rid of it about 2 years ago... he's still mad at us! lo;

Since DD is getting an american girl doll this year we ended up getting DS one of the bitty twins that looks like him. Although he plays with his own things he also always wants what big sister has.
He also enjoys just playing with her melissa and doug baby doll
