Computer question
I'm looking to get dh an inexpensive laptop for Christmas, as his is shot.
He realistically doesn't use it all that often, but he does use it for work occasionally-he has to be able to plug in a Bloomberg remote log in thing.
Would something like that work on a chrome book?

Computer question
Probably not. Chromebook is basically just a browser. If you want to do more than browse the web then it's really not for you.
Check Dell - I got a 600 dollar laptop for 300 yesterday, but they had much cheaper ones (199-250).

Computer question
I have a Lenovo Ideapad. DH got it for me last year. I'm working on my second master's degree and it's an online program, so I can do schoolwork from the couch. I was also able to use it working remotely when I worked at my last job.

Computer question
Just know with DELL, they suck when having an issue, they don't care about the customer or their product. They have made me miserable for months, I even had to put a complaint in to the BBB. I would look at a different company JMO.
