I don't think 3 year olds can focus on a TV yet. My 18-mo is just barely getting to the age where she'll sit and watch part of a show.
As for music, you can just use YouTube on your phone. There are tons of kids stuff on there. My kids love the Mother Goose Club.

Imo, any DVD that says it's educational at 3 months is bs. As for music, just try different music you like and see what they like. We never did kids music but both my girls liked different upbeat pop type stuff. Now they're 2 and 4 and both are obsessed with the Beatles lol.

At that age, DD was definitely interested in the TV. Yeah, yeah, yeah- no screen time until 2 years old blah blah blah.  Sometimes I'd put her in her highchair or swing and put on Baby Einstein DVDs while I took care of whatever I needed to do (eat, laundry, clean, zone out for a bit).
