Is anyone here a chiropractor or ND? Or even a physician that is open to alternative medicine? I have a question...
I have a question about a specific program that helps to "heal" the root cause of chronic disease. I've been asked by a family member to research it, but I'm looking for reliable, fact-based, unbiased resources (do those exist online?) to credit/discredit either the DC himself or his program.
It's a rather expensive program, and although I am all for alternative medicine, I am having a tough time with the claim that it "eliminates" autoimmune conditions... and I'm not finding much on the web that seems reliable one way or the other. For me, I understand that grandiose claims such as that are generally a red flag. But, my family member is desperate, so I will need some pretty good evidence one way or the other.
Please FM me if you think you might be able to help point me in the right direction. Thank you!!!

I'm not a doctor, but I have several autoimmune conditions (including thyroid and lupus). Several people have tried to sell me the "root cause" solution and I don't buy it. I have tried gluten free and autoimmune paleo and neither were any benefit to me. I will stick with my thyroid meds.

Thank you for your input. I am sorry you are suffering, and I am sorry not much helps. I know, unfortunately, how you feel... I have quite a few autoimmune conditions as well. It really sucks!
I appreciate your thoughts on the root cause. I would just hate to see my family member lose out on so much money and not actually see any benefit, so I am trying to research it as fully as I can for her.

Is he using foods as "elimination" or other avenues?
Just curious what method he uses. I had a friend that went a few months ago to someone that used a brain scan to "read" and diagnose all her issues. He was also not cheap.

The program is based on using a supplement that contains "Immune Modulating Components"... approximately $150 per month. I am still reading up on it all, so I don't know everything about the program or the claims...
