Do you host Thanksgiving, or go somewhere?

Do you host Thanksgiving (even if it's just you by yourself), or do you go to another place for Thanksgiving?

I have hosted in the past, this year we're going to my aunt's house. The family is so big so we all take turns.Chat Icon

We host and invite everyone who wants to come.

It's usually my DHs immediate family , his cousin, wife and their 2 kids.

2 years ago we had a houseful. It was great. Tight, but great.

I love thanksgiving. There's so much less stress this holiday then others. No gifts, no expectations. Just good food and good company.

First year hosting, so stressing out over that. But I agree with this.

i'm the lone "other."

our family rotates hosting holidays.

since being back to CA, i have not yet had my own place big enough to host the whole brood. BUT i'm squirreling away my pennies to buy a townhouse big enough to move furniture out and host a large meal every now and again.
