Cabinet positions
I'm not posting anything yet, because all I've found are "rumored short-lists" of potential people for different positions, but the short lists are pretty scary for all of the positions I've seen so far.
I'm really hoping that someone with some common sense (is there anyone like that in D.C. any more?) will make sure the positions are filled with sane people (not looking for people that *I* want, just people that won't harm the country).
The fact that these rumored short lists are out there, with nothing to discredit the existence of the lists is just adding to the nation-wide fear. At every opportunity, Trump just doubles down on dividing the country....
For my own sanity, I keep hoping that he's going to be reigned in, or realize what his job now entails, and starts doing the right thing for the country, but so far, he's not doing that....
His transition team has been in place since at least June of this year (it's a Federal Law for all candidates), so all of this uncertainty is supposed to be avoided, or at least minimized. It seems like they never planned on winning, and made no plans since June to transition into office.

I have heard more than once that Trump did not expect to win, and thus had no plans to fill positions. He himself even said he didn't think he'd win, though he thought it would be rigged against him.
I thought I was worried about Newt Gingrich as SOS, but now I am hearing Rudy Guiliani may get the job. I don't think he has the foreign policy background for it.

He never expected to win, even he knew how ridiculous his platform was/is, and was claiming the system to be rigged months ahead of the election. Scary how unprepared and behind schedule he is now. Now it just feels like he's (well, his people) just slapping list together haphazardly just to get it completed. Kind of like a kid who has a paper due and doesn't start writing it until the night before it's due.

I've always despised Rudy but he truly has become insane and unhinged. I cannot for a minute imagine him as our chief diplomat.

This. He's as much to blame as Trump himself for all the crap that's already gone down. The good of the country meant nothing to him with the promise of a job looming.
