what is it with sesame street..
..that gets my DD to be hooked for the full hour?!.. she's 4 months old, and if she is getting fussy all I need to do is turn on sesame street. No other show will do the trick, only sesame lol

what is it with sesame street..
Ive noticed this with both my kids as babies. And I think it's because the characters speak directly to the camera, so the baby feels like the characters are talking to them. When my dd was a baby, she also really liked to watch Super Why for the same reason.

And it's only a half hour on HBO! A full hour of mesmerization (if that's a word  ) is way better!

PBS still has it every day at 7am. My 2yo loves it and although my 4.5yo protests me putting it on she gets sucked in too.
