The fact is, for all of the the things he promises to do such fix the healthcare system and bring back jobs into the US he hasn't given ONE single explanation as to HOW he will accomplish all of these things. Why?? Because it's ALL talk and NO game plan. He's in over his head and hasn't a clue how to get anything done.
Prepare yourself for one of two things..............4 years of a whole lot of nothing OR 4 years of driving this country into the ground and bankrupting our economy.

Of course not however, he's far, FAR worse for this country.

The difference, Reagan was NOT a hot headed, loud mouth, arrogant, unpolished, sexist, racist, homophobic pig. But whatever you need to believe in to get you through the day and be okay with your vote.

Genuinely interested in this..
If he fixes the healthcare system, he'll most likely do so using tax dollars. But if he's cutting taxes, which a lot of people seem excited about with the updates in the tax brackets and business tax laws he suggested, how will he do that? & where will he get the money to tighten up borders? & fund the military? & bring back manufacturing (which is also usually due to tax breaks)? Has he explained it? I ask this as a person who works with very high net-worth individuals all the time, I see the taxes they end up paying. Where will American go without that $$$? How will change be implemented? & what about education?
****None of this is snarky, these are genuine thoughts on my mind this morning. I voted for Hillary but respect everyone's choice to vote. America has spoken and I honor that.****

Trump supporters still can't come out now that he won. On this board the attacks seem to be worse than ever. IMO, most people didn't vote for him thinking he had all these great plans. They just don't want 8 more years of a democrat in office.
So people who voted for Trump were aware that he had no plan but went along with him anyway? Wow, that says a lot. We are F*cked!

That actually does say a lot. Some of his supporters are willing to overlook his insults, attacks, lack of knowledge on anything related to anything, JUST BECAUSE they don't want a Democrat in office? That is crazy. I'm a registered Democrat, but I would have had NO issue voting republican if they offered up a qualified candidate.

Companies already do that.
Companies are being forced into providing certain types of coverage that may not be necessary or desirable, which drives up costs. For example, a male buyer or a 70 year old buyer shouldnt be forced into a plan that offers certain female reproductive or maternity care care. But the companies are forced to offer it, so we are forced to pay for it. Before Obamacare, you could choose the plan you want based on your needs and wallet.

I have laugh because I'm listening to him on the TV in the background making all of these promises (that cost trillions of dollars). He reminds me of the children running for student council at school, who promise no more homework and extended recess to get the kids to vote for them. And guess what?! Those kids win! At least they did in my DD's class! Empty promises!

Reagan at least had some experience in public office as governor of California before he became president. He had some iota of knowledge on how the government worked. Can't say the same for trump.

I am hoping his gigantic ego will actually work in the USA's favor. He wants to be the best at everything, I think he will do anything and everything to make people believe he was an amazing president and in turn hopefully make some great strides in the right direction. I was not a Trump supporter or Hillary for that matter but all I know is that the last 8 years were not good for most of America. Hoping for a change.

No not at all.
He did nothing about the AIDS epidemic. He tripled the national debt. Turned America from a creditor nation into a debtor nation. Iran/Contra, illegally giving weapons to our enemies. Had the most corrupt administration in history. The whole division of wealth in this country is due to his economics. Look what he did to Social Security. I could go on.
But conservatives love him because he dropped the tax rate on the wealthy to the lowest it had been.

Completely serious questions and not trying to be snarky at all - If Trump is so big on bringing jobs back to America, why didn't he start with his own companies that manufacture in China and Mexico? How do those who support him reconcile that promise with the fact that he himself, who has had the ability to do that, didn't. How will he make other manufacturers do what he has refused to do?

Because it's not just a matter of deciding whether you want to hire foreign or domestic workers. The point is that there is a reason why companies outsource jobs. Certain regulations make it cost prohibitive to employ US workers. So in order to bring jobs back to the US, we need to modify laws to give businesses back an incentive to hire locally.

He admitted to manufacturing overseas but a lot of his manufacturing is done here as well. He doesn't have the control over the costs of manufacturing. Now hopefully something will be done to stop sending jobs overseas. Companies are always looking to save. He's not at fault for doing that.

What about his refusal to sit down and negotiate with the workers at one of his hotels who unionized at the beginning of this year? He also spent $500,000 on an anti-union campaign, but the workers still organized. The National Labor Relations Board ruled against him this week, saying he violated the law by refusing to bargain in good faith with the elected union. This isn't the first unfair labor practice to stick against him. I don't see how his actions demonstrate that he supports the working class. I certainly hope he changes his time once in office.
