Back from the 1 yr check up-
21lbs and 29" -
Did a re-culture since he had strep 2 weeks ago- and its neg.
Ears are clear-
And as far as last night- the Dr said he is still young for night terrors- but it could be anything (teeth, cramps, freight) So I guess we'll see what happens tonight...
We didnt get our shot- since he hasnt been off antibiotic a week yet- so we go back on Thursday for the MMR (i think that one??)
It seems like just yesterday we were there for our very 1st check up!

Re: Back from the 1 yr check up-
And since we have been talking about the binky and bottles the past few days on here-
I figured while I was there I minds as well as the ped.
As far as the bottle goes- he said if I think he will still take the same amount of fluids in the sippy then to get rid of the bottle- if not- to continue doing the mix of both- like I have been...
Personally- I think he will slack off in the milk dept. by skipping his morning and night bottle- he just dosent seem to take as much milk out of the cup (He already has his afternoon milk in a cup served with lunch)
Then I was floored when I asked about the binky and he said Ry could keep it as old as 3.... I turned to him and said- "Dont you think thats a little much?"
He said that children need to suck- and if I take away the binky- then he is just gonna suck on his thumb or hands- and he thought that was a far worse habit...
So- I still have no plans of taking away the pacifier (not now at least) and as far as the bottle- Im not sure what to do....
I really dont wanna have to worry about cleaning bottles while we are on vacation- but I do not want him to decrease his milk intake
