Freaked out!
Do my husband and I were hanging out in our family room down stairs- I have a 3 level split so our main floor is our dining room, kitchen, and a small den where our front entry is. Someone pounded on our front door.... my husband and I go upstairs and ask who it is? Look outside and see no one... what the hell?!?

That's what my husband thinks. We do have a corner lot and our street he said outside looks likes everyone has their lights on. Our houses are very far apart but it looks like most people have their front and back lights on right now which isn't too common
Ugh! Freaks me out!

I hear you. I don't even answer my door unless I'm expecting someone or they call ahead. Just how I am.
Maybe they realized they had the wrong house? Has it happened before?

Freaked out!
Never happened before- it was like 9:45 pm- DH was like are your parents stopping by? (They live close and usually pop over but they were at my aunts in Nassau county). We have lived here a year and never happened before and my neighborhood is SO quiet, like eerily quiet and I was actually expecting my neighbor to text me if it happened to her because she's all over the neighborhood watch thing like it's her full time job (not that it's a bad thing) but it was just so odd and completely freaked me out. Nothing was wrong outside our house or with the cars or anything it was just so strange

Did you text your neighbor? Maybe she saw something.

I'm sorry; that must have been quite jarring.
Is there any chance it was the wind banging something against your door? I was inside all of last night, so I can't recall if it was windy or not.
