what did you do with old toys?
This year I decided to tell my kids they should give Santa all their old toys they no longer play with so he can give them to little girls and boys who don't have any toys.
They started going through and I have a lot of baby toys and a bunch of stuffed animals - what do I do with them now? Can I donate them somewhere?

Day care centers usually take toys.

I donate to Savers- you get a receipt for a tax deduction.

I donate to big brother/big sister, the truck comes and picks everything up, I believe eventually it goes to Savers. I know some people sell their stuff on FB but I don't want to be bothered w/ that.

Yes Savers is Big Brothers/Big Sisters- the tax receipt we get is from Big Brothers/Big Sisters

what did you do with old toys?
i give them to friend's kids who i think might be into them.... or donate them, or some things i try to sell on Facebook on the local buy/sell groups. ( i recently sold his Little Tikes Grill on there, his small indoor trampoline and a few other things...

what did you do with old toys?
Also check local pre-schools if the toys are in good condition. I recently donated toys to my son's school and they were so appreciative.

I work in a preschool and would take some gently used toys that are good for ages 3-5

what did you do with old toys?
I donate to veterans, they have a truck that comes around to collect. I donated 4 bags of toys about 3 months ago.

I sold some at a garage sale and some through a Buy and Sell group. Others I gave to friends/family I know who could use them and the rest I donated.

what did you do with old toys?
I give them to my SIL or I donate some. There are 2 women on my moms group who are always looking for developmental toys because they go from house to house for early intervention. I've given them a bunch. My nursery school has taken some, too.

Depends, a lot of time i just put them out on the sidewalk and they go really quickly
