Samsung top loading washing machine recalled
I just saw this on the news. And get this...we just bought one of the affected machines yesterday and had it installed. I used it twice yesterday. This makes me angry.

Just checked my model & serial number on their website and it said my sn is not included in the recall. I'm not convinced though lol.

Yeah - the Consumer Product Safety Commission actually announced the problem about a month ago. Our washer broke suddenly at the end of September so I needed to buy a new one quickly. I started doing research and came across the story. Went to buy a machine the next day and walked in to Best Buy - they guy helping me says, "oh, we have some great Samsung machines" and I immediately say, "no Samsungs!" and he goes, "oh, I guess you heard about the problems". Gee, thanks guy for trying to dump your defective washing machines on me!

Did they deliver it yet? I would see if they will take it back and cancel the order.

Ugh ugh ugh!! Refund is only 350. My machine in 1 year old. No way I could replace it for anywhere near that. I guess I have to go the repair route or else I'm out hundreds of dollars!

they are sending a repair kit
but then it says to choose a free tech to repair it or they will send money for a new one. Did anyone else get this?

That's what we are thinking as well. Ours is only a year if that old. Stinks. We just bought a Samsung refrigerator, hoping that doesn't get a recall as well lol
