Please educate me on pull-ups!
So DD is 18 months and a big girl in terms of height and weight. She's currently wearing a size 7 in Pampers Cruisers which to my knowledge is the largest size diaper on the market. She's fine in them now, but I'm anticipating the need to switch to something else in the near future if she continues to grow at the rate she has been. Are there certain brands you like better? Are there any that have side tabs like regular diapers? I don't mind putting them on her like regular underwear with her standing up, but I'm trying to imagine getting them off to change her if she poops if there's no tabs. Sorry if these are dumb questions -- I'm clueless! Thanks!

I don't find pull ups to hold add much as regular diapers. Idk if it's just bc my kids are in the smaller side so they aren't tight enough but I've had more leaks with them than regular diapers. They do have velcro so taking them off is not an issue. I think the pampers ones don't but I assume you can just tear them.

Yeah, I was afraid the absorbency wouldn't be as much as regular diapers. Hoping I can keep her in her current cruisers for a while longer and then we can cross the potty training bridge.

Huggies makes a pull up like diaper. You put it on like underwear but they have side tabs for easy take off. They are called Huggies Little Mover Diaper Pants. It's all we use for our 18 month old. They are super absorbant and easy to use. I feel like they dont sell them everywhere but I know Stop and Shop and Amazon definitely carry them.

I never felt like the pull-ups were any different than diapers. That's why many people say never to use them during potty training.

I would try different brands that are on the market. The good news is that I found my kids to grow fast until 18 mo and then they stayed in the same diaper size until the end (and the same clothes for 2 years).

This exactly! My DD was growing fast but then stayed at a size 6 till she potty trained. You most likely won't have to size up
