College Savings Accounts
DH And I would like to start a college savings account for the new baby.
do any of you have any savings accounts like this? did you do your own, or a 529 style plan? the 529's kind of confuse me.
but i know i can deduct my contributions if i have a NY plan (that's another thing - how are these so different from state to state?!)
are there any other options besides a savings account, and a 529?
any opinions are welcome!

We went with Fidelity and opened an acct online. however, you can go to T Rowe Price or through your bank.

thanks! was it a special 529 plan? or just a regular mutual fund/savings type account?
