North Face or other fleece
What is the best (warmest and not bulky) fleece out there? DDs dont have lockers in their middle school and often carry around their jackets. They are both not into wearing a bulky coat unless its brutally cold.

I always get my kids the North Face denali. Not too bulky and warm enough the usually wear them into December.
Backcountry.com usually has them for a good price.

Re: North Face or other fleece
My kids have had the North Face fleece for the past 5 years. I changed it up a little this year and bought them fleeces from Under Armor and Nautica. I got them at the outlets for like $30.

North Face or other fleece
My boys have always worn fleeces this time of year but I just ordered them North Face thermoballs for a change. Super lightweight down, not bulky at all. I have one and it's thin enough to layer under a parka on the coldest days.

I switch between North Face and Patagonia. It all depends on the color and the price. Both are great quality and good value.

Really, they have no lockers? Ugh poor kids, it would suck to have to carry around a coat all day!
Love North Face - Also columbia has a suuuuuuuuuuuuper lightweight puffer - lighter than a fleece even that is quite warm!

I got an LL Bean Puffer like that. it weighs nothing. It folds up into a pouch for travel. But it is the warmest thing i own. It's 810 fill- higher than any northface I priced out- yet cheaper
