Retraining toddler eating habits?
How can I make my 3yo DS a better eater?
He won't touch veggies. Fruits are hit or miss - he either loves them or he hates them. Consistently he likes applesauce, fruit and grain bars, pizza, nuggets, fries, yogurt - turkey and cheese is hit or miss, he has to be in the mood. Red meat he won't touch. Pasta and sauce is generally OK. What kills me is he has inherited my grandmother's insane sweet tooth - none of us are really into sweets but he loves donuts, candy (like lollies or gummies) and sweet baked goods (which my mother is all to keen to give him). I told her to curb the crap when she is babysitting.
I really want to try to get him eating healthier, and he's really big into snacking/grazing as opposed to full meals.
I feel like a terrible mom

I think that grazing is perfectly fine-I feel it's better in the long term to help control weight when people get older.
Can you offer small, healthy foods throughout the day? As long as he's healthy, he won't starve himself

Yes I agree...my kids are grazers. Nothing wrong with it, as long as the foods offered are healthy.

dd2 is 3 1/2 and the worst. I don't know how she survives lol. I just keep giving her the stuff. She won't touch fruit these days. I cut up a pear everyday fro dd1 and always put a few slices in dd2's lumch box. She doesn't eat it but I hope she will one day lol. She took a bite of a carrot last night.
I recently made pumpkin muffins. I added a few choco chips in and she loved them. It had cocnut oil in it too. So now I am looking for more recipes to make muffins with. Everything need to be smooth adnnot weird feeling so I can' added shredded carrot it has to be pureed but pintrest has a ton

Yes, Pinterest is great for this kind of thing. I've been looking for a savory muffin recipe, something with maybe spinach and sausages?
