Halloween Costume for Me?
So DD is going to be a cabbage patch kid for Halloween. We'll be going trick or treating with some friends and their kids and everyone dresses up so I need a costume for myself. I feel like I should be coordinating with DD, but I have no idea what goes with a cabbage patch kid? I was thinking of other 80s toys... carebears, Jem, rainbow brite, my little pony, etc. It's hard though- a lot of them are so... slutty!  Also, I don't want to be cold!
I did find a kinda cute Strawberry Shortcake one. It's got a skirt, but it also has green striped leggings underneath so it's not bad. I won't freeze my asss off.  Any other suggestions?
ETA: I would go as a cabbage patch kid, too, but I can't find a wig in my size.

I can't imagine it's hard to make a cabbage patch wig. Probably just need some yarn and a hat.

I was thinking of just an 80's girl, too... crimped hair, jelly bracelets, etc.... And OMG Liz I love the leggings- they are so Saved by the bell.

They definitely make overalls for adults. Not sure how you feel about thrift stores but I'm sure you could find a pair there.
And ponytails or braids.
ETS: You can add a lollipop sticking out of the chest pocket.
And maybe a jumprope hanging out of your back pocket.
