Sidewalk markings by town
I came home about two weeks ago and found my sidewalk marked, the street in front of my house, and my lawn all the way up to my bedroom window. Think utility markings, orange and blue. So I called 811 to see why, and they directed me to their website, which said that the town was doing sidewalk repair.
Last week, I came home to find my neighbors had their sidewalk ripped up and a new driveway apron being put in by town workers. The work is done, and no one ever did anything to my sidewalks.
Do you think they marked the wrong house? I tried to call the highway department, and the woman said there is NO record of any work being done on my street at all (haha, okay). Weird.

I'm sure they marked pipes under the ground so they didn't hit it for your neighbor's repair.

They wouldn't have marked it all the way up to their house? Seems weird that they stopped at my mailbox. And that they marked all the way up on my lawn to my window. I have no idea about these things.
