Thinking of a doing a trip to Savannah next year with our 5.5 y/o. Any recommendations for hotels, restaurants, thibgs to do??? I'm in the early stages of doing research, so just want to see if there's enough to do with kids.

We went with our three year old about a year ago. Had such a great time! We rented an airbnb apt so we had a little more room to spread out.
We went to the train museum, did a walking tour, and walked along the water and went to that awesome candy shoppe where they make fresh taffy.
We also drove over to Tybee island.
You can also do a trolley tour.
It's a great walking city!

My cousin owns the District Cafe and Eatery. It's downtown.
There's also a nice ice cream shop around the corner.
I like River Street, Bonaventure cemetery, Tybee Island, Fort Pulaski, and just downtown in general.
