Maldives
Anyone travel there? Where did you stay? Was it worth the long flight? Thinking of travelling there but still undecided. Any info is appreciated!

I researched Maldives for our honeymoon but ended up going to Bora Bora. Our friends who went to the Maldives had an amazing time. Many seem to do Dubai with the Maldives. I was planning to do Dubai/Maldives for our 10 yr anniversary but now pregnant.
From my research, it is a little bit of a pain to get to your end destination because you have to get to your often private island once you arrive after the airport by boat or private plane. You will probably need a full day of travel to and from.
I'm hoping to go to one of these places for my 40th birthday now. Resorts look beautiful but also $$$$.
One and Only, Four Seasons and Six Senses all look fabulous. St Regis is also opening next month.
I know I was looking into the W 10 years ago but it may now be dated. Not sure.
