Interview help needed

i'm unhappy in my current job. I have a degree in another field, and am now trying to find a job in it.

the problem is, the interviews are usually during work hours. My boss is starting to get a bit annoyed with the amount of time I need off, or me coming in late/leaving early.

How do you handle going to interviews while trying to keep your current job?

Interview help needed

I had to hide the fact that I was interviewing because DH is unemployed, so my job is our only income. We had summer Fridays (half day), so I would try to schedule them on those days, otherwise I burned through vacation and floating holidays. I used a sick day once. Unfortunately it's not something you can really be up front about.
