family photos

I have 3 kids and get many professional photos annually- dance, school, camp, family photo shoot (around once a year). I already have so many on the piano, on end tables and hanging up the stairs. What do you guys do with your professional family photos and how often do you take them? Other than in holiday cards Im not sure where to hang them. Do I have to replace the ones i have up every year? I hate replacing the ones I have but I can't have a house with family photos everywhere?? LOL. Not sure what to do... the only ones i replace every year are the school pics to the recent ones. I still have some newborn photos up too.

I currently have in my dining room cathedral ceilings. When we moved in we built shelves from top to bottom, thick barn wood with decent spacing between. On there we have pictures in frames, all black and white. I like that I can stack the frames larger behind the smaller. I don't have many up yet since our babies aren't here, however, overtime all the photos will go there. Do you have space to add shelves or anything?

I make a family year book each year, and keep them stacked on an end table in my living room

I also replace the photos when I get new ones, but I do keep out a few wedding pics and newborn pics regardless

I have some wedding pics, dd's professional christening pic. All others I switch out every year.
