Old or new license plates?
Just another mindless topic... 
Do all of your cars have the new, gold and blue license plates, or do you still have one or more blue and white?
I have 3 vehicles. One new plate, and two old plates. Every time the registration renewal comes up, they ask "Do you want to spend more money to get a different plate?"
Uh.... if I don't have to, why would I? 
The one vehicle with the newer plate is a newer car, so I had to get a new plate.

I have the new gold one but not by choice. 
I had the old white ones and swore I'd never switch because I don't like the 1970s gold ones. I figured I'd just transfer the plate when I got a new car.
Sadly, I was in an accident a few years ago and the front plate must have fallen off in the street. The cop who helped me took my whole front bumper and put it in my trunk (it was hanging off by a thread). When I got home I realized the plate was gone. It must have gotten knocked off in the accident.
So i had to go to DMV and turn in the back plate and get new plates- which were the ugly gold.

I do   They remind me of when I was a little kid in the 70s because it's the same color scheme. 
I have the blue and white, DH has the gold because he got his car after they started making them.

This. The new plates are hideous and I will keep my old plates as long as I can. I have personalized plates and that will cost me even more money to replace if I am forced to. I am not spending money for those ugly plates until I have to. And then I will switch back to regular non-personalized plates.

Old or new license plates?
I have the new ones on my car, which I was not happy about. DH the old blue and white.
Just as an aside - I've recently noticed the paint on the blue and white ones is coming off/scratched off/ peeling off on a LOT of cars I see driving around.

My car has the old plates. I refuse to pay more to get a new plate.
DH bought a new car last year, so he has the new plates. I think they are ugly.

I refuse to pay extra for new plates so I still have my old ones. We bought a new car in March and I just had them transfer over my old plates.

No... it's another first world problem, but sometimes the colors clash with the car color... The white and blue goes better with my blue truck.

Lol - true. I'll bet the new (gold and blue) would clash with a red car.
