Gift ideas for a 7 year old boy
Desperately looking for gift ideas for my soon to be 7 year old DS. He's tough to buy for bc of his interests. He's into animals, books about people and cultures of the world, music, etc. He wants a Wii U but that's going to be his Santa gift. I asked him if he wanted an iPad but he said no.
Not only do we need to buy him gifts but I have my parents asking me constantly for gift ideas as well as other family members. We're OOS but already have zoo membership, museum passes, etc.
Help.

My 7yo loves Pokemon cards. There are so many options and box sets you can buy, along with books, figures, etc.
National Geographic Kids has great books about animals, fish, people, planets, etc. My son loves reading them.
Since my DS is almost out of they toy stage, so we have to get creative with gifts. We're getting him a fish tank and letting him pick out the fish he wants.
He has xbox and likes playing Skylanders. New games and figures make good gifts.
Oddly, he also likes getting gift cards, to restaurants, movies, Target, etc.
Does your son like any sports teams? New baseball hat, watch, wallet, bank, zombie figures, etc. are good gifts.
Outdoor sports toys are good too. Like spike ball, can jam, nerf football, tether ball.

Pokémon cards, star wars light sabers, nerf guns, legos. Maybe a 3DS or a drone?
My 7yo specifically asked for a Millennium Falcon and Jurassic World Rex lego sets. He got Ninjago and Chima sets last year. All very popular with the 7 year old boys.
