Baby clothes- one and done?
What did you do with clothes if you were one and done? I just filled 2 huge bins with 9 month clothes and they're now taking up space along with several bins of smaller clothes. I gave some of the gear she outgrew to my bff who is pregnant, but she's having a boy so she can't take the clothes. It's nice stuff and she only wore most of it once (if that).

Not in this situation yet but I know I'm done after my boys get here. I will save stuff in a bin. I have a bunch of friends getting married so I'm sure someone is bound to have a boy. Same with my maternity clothes they are going in a bin and will be passed on to a friend. Do you think any of your friends are going to have more kids, or family? If not, I would maybe sell the clothes by bin to get some money back for them

I sold some of the nicer name brand clothes, donated some and saved some in a bin where I have a few of her baby items.

I gave away most of my dd clothes to my friend who had a baby a year and a half after I did--things that were a bit worn I donated. I kept a few things I really loved on my dd.

Most of my friends won't be on the mommy track for a while, same with DH's friends. My bff will likely have another but these bins are taking up a lot of space and she's still pregnant with the first!
I have another pregnant friend who isn't finding out but doesn't seem too keen on taking anything used (which my bff is thrilled about because she's scooped everything up).
I just want my basement closet back!

I give all the clothes to a friend at work. Her daughter is almost exactly a year younger than my daughter so it's perfect. Special outfits like birthday and Christmas dresses I can't bring myself to part with.

I have a girl and a boy, so I couldn't re-use my dds clothes for my ds. And now I'm pretty sure I'm done having kids. So I've been going through their clothes, picking out my favorite special outfits to keep for sentimental reasons. The rest I either sell or donate. It just takes up too much space to save it all.

Do you have any friends or family members that you know may have children in the future? I am done after two, but saving my bins for my brother, for when his and his fiancee eventually have children. Otherwise I probably would just donate it.

I'm saving everything for when my sister has children, but otherwise, I would donate it all.

Re: Baby clothes- one and done?
We gave most of it away to our cousin who has a baby just a few months younger than ours, the rest we donate. I can't keep the stuff around waiting for others to have babies. DH wanted to save the stuff for his brother, but no he's not even married or engaged yet.

I would donate, toss, or sell depending on the item/condition.

I have 2 DS but I''m 85% certain I'm done so I have been donating the vast majority of clothes. I will save a few of the pieces I love JUST in case but TBH, I saved everything from DS1 and barely used it for DS2 because they were born in different seasons and are vastly different sizes (one in the 97% and one peanut).

Why don't you call a place like Momma's House that works with unwed teen moms and places like that. They would most likely love a donation of gently used baby clothes. That's what I plan on doing if my cousin doesn't want the bins of clothes back that she gave to me.

Re: Baby clothes- one and done?
I gave everything away. I have thought about selling but it is too much trouble.
We tried to sell a few bulky toddler things - Thomas train bed, playhouse, etc. and there were no shows and flaky people. It wasn't worth the trouble.
