i'm having a day... and just sick of people

this will probably pass by the time i get home and have a glass of wine or whatever... but at this very moment i hate all people for everything. i don't even want anyone to breathe near me.

we're plumbers.

a customer called saying that we broke her garage door... lady, we were working on the other side of your house. our techs never entered your garage.

one customer harassed me to give her a discount and to include extra work at no charge. um, no.

our schedule is full for the day and we are NOT emergency service plumbers, we are specialty plumbers... we do not offer 24hr service. one customer said he would give us a bad yelp review if i didn't have a tech come out to his house within the next 30 minutes.

and to put the icing on my not-so-wonderful day... SO is having a bad day as well and is being a jerk with me... and we're co-workers, so that's a lot of fun.

I am totally with you. These last two days have been insane at work for me too.
I cannot wait to go home and have a couple glasses of wine!

at least it's Friday!

I'm right there with you. I work in Customer Service and usually my customers are very nice, but there's always those few....

Today I get a call from someone who wants a part number that we don't manufacture and it's so unrecognizable that I cant even tell if it's something we've ever manufactured. He argues with me "well can you tell me who took over that line of products?"
"I'm sorry sir, I can't as I can't even confirm that we ever manufactured it to begin with. It's not a recognizable bearing number".
"So, you don't currently manufacture it? Then who does?"

WTF DID I JUST SAY TO YOU???? Am I not speaking English? So, again, for the third time I explain that my system is not even recognizing the part number he is providing me with as an actual bearing number and therefore, I can't tell him who (if anyone) makes it. SO HE HANGS UP ON ME! I'm 33 weeks pregnant, swollen, hot, and tired...and I just had to tell you the same thing 3 different ways while you sit on the other end with the most disgusting attitude. My head almost exploded with rage.

God, what I would give for a very strong drink right now...
