Notary renewal?
My notary expired last week. I completely forgot about it because my stamp is still at my old job and I haven't been back since DD got sick in February. I looked up to see what I needed to do and it says I should have had received a renewal application. I don't recall receiving one. It doesn't say what to do if you don't have the application. Anyone have experience? This is for Suffolk. Thanks.

Re: Notary renewal?
I believe the renewals are sent out by the County Clerk. I'd start by calling the Suffolk County Clerk's office.

Notary renewal?
Yes, call the Suffolk County Clerks office. You can also go down there and renew in person with cash.

Re: Notary renewal?
I didn't get one either. And then I waited too long and now I have to retake the test. My stamp was up in May.

Notary renewal?
Mine expired is August. I received the renewal application about 2 months before.
I of course didn't send it back until 2nd week of Aug. They cashed my check but didn't receive anything back. I am told they are 4 months behind on the actual processing of them. In Suffolk.

Notary renewal?
This happened when I renewed last time, they were several months behind. I was told as long as they cashed my check I could still notarize.

Notary renewal?
I've been wanting to become a notary. Do I need to take a test or can I just read a book and study on my own? Is the test hard?
