Finished nursing and hormones...
Wow. People told me it might be emotional, but I did not expect this.
I went into nursing thinking 'eh, if it works it works.' And I truly did end up loving it. It became super hectic at work pumping and whatnot, and there were many many days where I coulnd't wait to be done.
Well now I'm done and I cry at least once every day. I also recently came back to work after being off for the summer. And my dd turns 1 this weekend too, so maybe that's adding to my emotions.
Anyone else go through this? Maybe AF is returning soon?
ETA...ANDDDD AF arrived.

Re: Finished nursing and hormones...
Aww I bet it's a combination of ALL of those things. I had the same attitude. I said my ultimate goal is 3 months and I'll probably switch to formula. I'm going on 5 months now and I truly love doing it. You did AWESOME- a year is amazing! You deserve a pat on the back and a big cocktail.
I just had a question though- you're 1 year PP and you still haven't gotten AF back?! I know breastfeeding keeps it a bay awhile but a few people said it came back after like 5/6 months regardless of breastfeeding. So I'm on pins and needles every time I get a weird cramp or twinge thinking oh no it's back!

When I stopped breastfeeding when my LO turned 6 months I was an emotional wreck. I was crying every day and just feeling all over terrible. I also regretted my decision at first. You do get regulated so to say after awhile so hang in there!!!

You should be so proud of yourself that you could nurse for as long as you did! Your hormones/emotions will become regular again, just give yourself time!
