We get small merrit increases based on performance reviews. Aside from thanking your boss in a meeting where he tells you that you got a raise do you send an email TY too?

I only thanked my boss for the raise I asked for - any other increases that were CoL or otherwise I never thanked anyone. Whoops!

Never sent an email and I'm not sure I even said TY in the meeting.

For us we do our review and then the boss puts in for your raise- and it takes a while to get approved.

So once it's approved he will shoot me the email saying it's been approved for X% and the new salary will show in my next check etc

I usually reply to that email with a Thanks!

And that's about it

We get a small increase each year (only year we did not get one was when the organization did not do well financially) based on a good performance review but I don't really thank anyone (I think I am underpaid as is lol)
