Re: Printer recs
I have 2.
My older one is a HP Photosmart 7520. It was ok and served its purpose, but I felt like it used ink like crazy. I eventually went to no name refill cartridges and they worked wonderfully for a fraction of the price. It's a printer, copier, scanner and fax.
My newer one is a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. Bigger unit overall but faster and nicer printing. It's not the latest version, so maybe you can find it cheaper somewhere. I'd definitely recommend this one.

I have an inexpensive hp one. I really wanted hp bc I have an issue with buying ink, and they have an instant ink program that I love

Re: Printer recs
My current printer is an Epson WF-3540. I've had HPs for many years, but I hated the fact that if you use up all of your yellow ink, you have to throw out the entire color cartridge, even if the blue is mostly full. The Epson has a separate cartridge for each color.
