Night training help
My DS just turned 4 and has been day trained for over a year. A few weeks ago he was waking up dry so we started putting him in underwear at night. He would get up through the night and go to the potty himself. He was doing great! Then he started wetting the bed again. We were going on vacation so we put him back in pullups. After about 2 weeks he was waking up with a soaking wet diaper and thought it was funny that he peed in it and would pee in it before getting out of bed in the morning. We decided to stop the pullups and put him back in underwear 3 nights ago. He has wet the bed every night and doesn't even seem to wake up when he does it. I go in and hes damp from peeing earlier in the night. Any tips?? We already cut drinks after dinner and wake him up to go to the bathroom before we go to bed at night.

Night training help
I think night training is a developmental milestone and maybe he's just not ready. I know a few boys who weren't night trained until 5.

Re: Night training help
I was in the developmental milestone camp until DS was almost 6! He would wake up with soaking diapers every AM & was potty trained from age 2. Waking him at night to go didn't work. He'd never be trained if we waited...
What did work was a monitor/alarm called WetStop. You clip it to the underwear & it sounds & vibrates if kid pees. In 3 days, DS was night trained & has no accidents. We stopped using it after a week dry. He does wake himself up to pee once a night. I think it just trained him to wake up. We did get him a big prize when all was done.
After raving about it, tons of people said they used it. It's awesome.
