2 yr old pulling hair out
My 2 yr old is pulling hair out,and then plays with it, usually in her mouth (doesn't chew it, but she plays with it). I think it started just as something she "discovered", but now she does frequently. We've told her to stop or took the hair out of her hands, but the she starts to think its a game. She pulled a ton out today and I'm afraid she's gonna start getting bald patches!
Has anyone had any experience with this..

Not with my kids but I used to pull my hair out as a kid & I became addicted (but I was a bit older, at 2 it's probably just a habit or a comfort thing).
Can you keep her hair back in a bun with no loose strands so she can't get to it?? If it's down or in her face, she's probably going to do it without even thinking.

Ok, thanks....her hair is fairly short, so I can pull it back, but strands escape. Maybe pigtails will work better....and they are so cute!!

My oldest did this. She used to eat it. She has stopped but in will sees her occasionally pull.a piece out. Her hair is.Super thick now. She's almost 9.
