Tipping hairdresser question
I have a hairdresser coming to my house to cut both my teens hair. She does this on the side and sets her own prices and gets cash. Do I tip her?

I go to someone's house, it's her own business obviously, but i feel weird not tipping so I do tip

When I posted, my thought was NO, since its all pocket cash for her. And she lived nearby, so she's not traveling far.

I don't think you have to. However, I would feel awkward so I probably would. I def don't think it's required in this situation though.

No. And I say this as a stylist. Although if u want her to come frequently and she accommodates you a tiny tip is super apprexiated

I wouldn't tip but I also would feel weird asking if she had change. If it was something like 28 but I only had 30 I probably just give her the 30.

no, when i went to my hair dressers home, where she once worked out of I did not tip, Now she works out of a salon and yes, I tip

Yes. I would tip her. My hairdresser rents a booth at a salon but only accepts cash. I would still tip her even if she came to my house. Does she charge higher prices for coming to the home?

No I wouldn't tip. She is coming to your house and set the price of the haircut taking into account her expenses (gas, whatever), and pockets all of the money you give without a cut of it going to a salon.
