Beaches Resort- Turks and Caicos

Seriously looking into booking for next June but I'm not 100% decided yet. It seems VERY pricey but I hear great things. But I need more feedback.
Anyone have any reviews?

No experience but I have heard good things as well. I can't wait to plan a trip there.

Re: Beaches Resort- Turks and Caicos

We booked a trip for April. You only needed a small deposit and can cancel 45 days before.

I'm so excited. I think it will work for us as we want all inclusive with 2 little ones. We did not want a cruise or Disney.

It's pricey but it's all included so you have to factor that in. We think this is the best option for us right now with 2 little ones and despately need a trip!

We can't wait!

Re: Beaches Resort- Turks and Caicos

DH & I went 3 years ago for a wedding. It was the best vacation ever!! We stayed in the Key West Village. It was beautiful, clean, the rooms were big and always cool.
There is so much to do, eat etc. Everything is taken care so you don’t need to worry about paying at restaurants or for drinks. The staff was very attentive and always nice.
We don’t have kids but there were a lot of families there.

Re: Beaches Resort- Turks and Caicos

I personally would rather stay at a better resort for the same price. Beaches is good for young kids but then my kids didn't love kids club when they were that young. We went when kids were 2.5 and 4.5 and they had already outgrown Sesame St. They were bored with the shows by day 3. Rooms are ok, nothing special and food is average. I would rather stay at a 5 star hotel for $1000+ per night and pay for food separately.

The actual beaches were perfect though. Our kids spent most of their time playing in the sand and in the water. Love Turks and Caicos. I am eyeing Amanyara for our 10y anniversary.

This.
I thought it was SOOO overpriced and the food sucked. I'm a food snob though, but others I was with thought the food was average at best. My SIL ate nothing but bread most nights- she's super picky though.
The room was beat up and the bathroom barely worked our whole stay.
It was no 5 star hotel by a long shot, yet it had 5 star prices.

Re: Beaches Resort- Turks and Caicos

I love it! We went a couple of times. The first time DS was little and he enjoyed the shows. He doesn't like the kids club in general, but we left him there for a couple of hours to take a rest from the sun, and he was fine with it. When he was older, we didn't go to the shows, but they have many other activities that older kids can enjoy... movies, x box room, the slides, etc. On that occasion and because he was more vocal Chat Icon we didn't use the kids club.

Service is incredible. They remembered us on the first times that we went consecutive years. If you have a complaint, you really feel listened to - our only complain was that they didn't have enough surfing boards on the surfing pool, and they lent us one for the rest of the trip. Things like that, that made our trips there memorable.

I think the food was good, but I can eat anything... different kind of restaurants, from buffets to sit down, and different styles. Activities for grown ups as well, DS went to a poker thing, I stayed in the room with DS. Ah! I remembered doing aqua aerobics as well.

I highly recommend it. I would love to go back, but yes, it is expensive. The other vacations in all inclusives have not been as good.
