Swimming Classes

RayRay13 LIF Infant Member since 7/14 155 total posts Name: RayRay	Swimming Classes A friend of mine told me that she sent her son to the Rec Center near her to get swim lessons. She lives way too far for me to send my DD there. Does anyone know of a cheapish place for a child to take swim lessons in the fall/winter? I'm in Bellmore and I wouldn't want to travel too far. Thanks so much!!

onlylisa LIF Adolescent Member since 3/09 740 total posts Name: Lisa	Swimming Classes Freeport Rec has swimming lessons. It's not far from Bellmore. The town offers lessons at Newbridge Pool in the summer, too. You missed it this year but something to keep in mind for next year.

There is a saf-t-swim in Bellmore on Bellmore Ave that offer individual classes. However I had a terrible experience with them and IMO I wouldn't even go back. they do offer free trial classes so you can see if it is the right fit for you.
