Oral surgeon

So my husband has waited over a week to get an infection in a cracked tooth taken care of. His appointment was at 4pm. He was going crazy dealing with the pain and couldn't wait any longer. He gets there, they take the X-rays and then pseg says they are shutting off the power! So he's s hit out of luck! He's panicking because he can't take any more Motrin because he's getting headaches etc. so anyone know who we can all for a emergency visit asap? We are in Suffolk but he will travel anywhere at this point!

Re: Oral surgeon

Emergency dental

I go to Raphaelson dental associates in deer park
Great office and dentists. They only have an oral surgeon
in office once a month
So I googled emergency dentist and found this link

But if I'm not mistaken, they shouldn't pull an infected tooth. Usually they give antibiotics and pain killers then once infection is clear, if the tooth can't be saved, they will pull

I hope he gets help soon. Tooth pain is no joke

Re: Oral surgeon

I had a decayed wisdom tooth that started bothering me this week. Yesterday I was able to get a same day appointment at this place to get it pulled. They have multiple offices, so call each one to try and get in. Of course now it's after hours on a Friday, and they are probably not open for the weekend, but worth a shot.

Stony Brook hospital has a dental department in the ER, you can try that as a last resort. They don't usually pull teeth, but maybe they can give him some other pain medicine and antibiotics.

I used Mario Capuano for my wisdom tooth and another extraction I needed years ago. He was awesome.
I didn't realize they had all these locations. I think at the time it was only 2

I think the Sayville office is new, it smelled like fresh paint, and looked sparkling! I had Dr. Gish, he was great. I know they aren't in that office everyday, I think they rotate between locations
