I don't want to scare you, but I went here in 2006. I became very sick from the food or water. The 3 friends I was with also got sick, but not to the degree I did. I'm sure they have changed their ways, and you will be FINE. But I would bring Immodium and Pepto just in case.
Aside from that, it was a gorgeous resort, beautiful beach. We did a horse riding excursion, and 2 of the people we were with did swimming with turtles or sting rays. Have fun!

I agree w/ the pp, bring immodium. I was there april 2016 and although the beach was gorgeous, the food was not good at all.

Also, email the concierge for reservations before you go. We went with a wedding party and those who waited had a hard time getting tables. The hibatchi place was the best, in my opinion. Strikers has a buffet of bar food, open all the time, and its a great place to grab a quick bite. I read a lot of reviews on trip advisor and it really helped me know what to expect. Have fun!
