Cost not a concern! But what is the best stroller out there and why?

Snap n go. Light and convenient. But obviously doesn't work past infancy.

I looked at so many strollers and decided on the Uppababy Cruz. I love it! I would have gotten the vista but it did not fit in my trunk. I wanted something that could face either direction which mine does. It also has the best sun canopy, and you can attach a bassinet if you want.

ETA If price wasn't a factor I would have got the bugaboo cameleon though. It was amazingChat Icon

I'm in the minority but I dislike my Uppa Baby Vista - my MIL pushed me to get it as she was purchasing it for my shower gift and it looked good to me and gets great reviews -- had lots of bells and whistles -- converted to a double stroller for future children, seat could be positioned to face you, face away from you, car seat clicked in, had bassinet, etc. This was for my first child so I never had previous experience using a stroller/stroller features. Fast forward to now -- DD is 15 months and I just purchased a different stroller. The Uppa Vista is super bulky and heavy. Don't get me wrong, the frame is solid and very well constructed but folding it up and opening it requires both hands and while you technically can fold the frame up with the seat attached while its forward facing (won't fold when its attached facing you), it's super awkward to do so and takes up a ton of trunk space. When the frame and the seat are in my trunk, I can't put much else back there and I drive an SUV so it's not like my trunk is tiny or small in any way. The seat is very high up off the floor and super shallow. I feel like DD can't get comfy in there when she's tired and trying to fall asleep. She likes to kinda sleep on her side which I understand is a difficult position to sleep in while in a stroller but due to how shallow the seat is, she has trouble. She has rarely ever slept for extended periods of time in the Uppa Vista. She likes to feel "enclosed" when sleeping -- I call it cocoon mode. Even with the shade umbrella fully extended, I still feel like she's kinda "out there" -- not sure if that makes any sense. I did like that the Uppa Baby Mesa car seat was compatible with the frame and I did use that a bunch when DD was a baby and despite not thinking I'd ever use the bassinet, I used it a ton when she was little but she outgrew it rather quickly so I'm not sure how much a selling point it is. I will say, however, that I love the Uppa Baby lightweight umbrella stroller, the G-Luxe. It's definitely work checking out.

I just ordered a City Mini GT tonight because I've used my friends and SIL's and really like it. The folding is crazy easy and can be done with one hand while holding your child. Folds very flat and takes up less room than the Vista. The seat is very deep and the recline basically goes flat. I'm hoping she sleeps better in it and is more comfortable.

I think the Bugaboo Donkey looks cool. I would have to try it out to say if it were the best. But if cost were no option, I would check it out.

I love my strollers because they are lightweight and easy to fold. I have the Britax B-agile double and single strollers.

I have the UB vista too. I have to agree with MrsM re: how bulky it can be and its a pain to fold. However, pushing it is great, it handles very well, the basket underneath holds a ton of stuff.

I recently used someone's city mini and I really liked that as well

I tried out a lot when PG with my first. I think the UB Vista is one of the best. I love the huge basket underneath, the big wheels, almost everything about it. And now the newer model has more configurations for the second seat.
The Bugaboo is also a great one, but the thing that turned me off is the fact that you have to take it apart to fold it up. I didn't want two big stroller pieces in my trunk. The vista only has he be taken apart when the seat faces you.

Edit to add I think a lot depends on where you live. I live in Queens and walk everywhere. Almost every mom I pass has a UB. It's a great walking stroller, but a PIA if you live in the suburbs and drive everywhere. Carrying it in and out the trunk is annoying.

I loved my UB Vista. Another vote.
I have a city select now as a double (traded because I had an older model of UBV without the updated configurations). The CS is fine but much heavier and harder to access the storage basket.

I feel the exact same way! I actually sold my ups baby vista when she was like 18mos and got the city mini GT too. Buttttt I feel like I barely used it before I got the uppa baby umbrella stroller. And that's what I've mainly used. I totally feel like I failed in the stroller dept. if I could go back I would have just gotten the lightest weight snap n go and then moved to the city mini.

Ugh! Me too! If only we knew then what we know now. I would absolutely love to sell the Vista to make money (it's in perfect condition) but I feel like that would be a huge issue when it came to MIL. She'd somehow find out (i.e. see a picture of my daughter in her new stroller and immediately inquire why we weren't using the one she purchased), so for now, it will sadly sit in our garage unused. I think it's a great stroller for the city/more urban area. If I could run most of my errands with the stroller via walking and not have to close it up, open it up, attach seat, repeat, it'd be great, but with suburban life and driving everywhere its a real PITA. Do you like your City Mini GT? Mine should be delivered any day. I got it for a great price -- its the 2015 in the lime green/gray combo and it came to $215 with free shipping. I guess now that the 2016 is out, they're trying to get rid of inventory and it's likely that the lime green isn't their "hot" color. Whatever -- for that price, I'll take it!
