School buses and car seats
would you allow your two and three year old on a school bus without a car seat?
Edit to add - it's just for a one day trip that's about a 15 minute drive each way

No. Dd1 is 3 and her camp provides bus and everyone kindergarten and younger gets a car seat. Even still I still drop her off and pick her up.

no way. 4 1/2 - 5 would be the yougest I would be ok with it. A 2 year old is way too much still a baby.

I completely agree. Unless it was a shuttle bus from like a parking lot to an event. Everyday? No way, especially bc at that age, my kids are still rear facing.

Are children under the age of four required to be restrained in a car seat while riding on a school bus?
Yes. The law states that children under the age of four must be restrained in a federally approved car seat while riding on a school bus [Section 1229-c(11), NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law
