ggrrrr getting out of debt has roadblocks

i was so happy that i was making such amazing headway in my debt murder.

a couple of dr visits and an old tax bill are slowing me down

i'm still under the $6k mark, but only by a hair.

in the next two months i have family functions with gifts, then it's SO's birthday, then it's the holiday season.

poor me (lol literally and figuratively)

i was hoping to get out of debt before the year was over. looks like i'm taking my debt with me into a little part of 2017.

just goes to show you... if you want something bad enough, you gotta make it through the tough parts.

my eye is still on the prize!!! i will not be stopped. i might be slowed down, but i will not be stopped.

You can do it! Keep attacking it hard! It feels so good to be debt free. It took us a few years to get rid of CC, dr and miscellaneous other debt. We still have a car payment which we are ok with. But having nothing else just feels AMAZING.

YOU WILL GET THERE! Bravo on all the progress you have made so far!

all you can do is keep focusing on where you want to go with it. Dont get sidetracked, and dont ADD to the debt. Do xmas and bdays in cash. You give what you can.

I do the 52 week money challenge and do the average of $26.50 a week. that account is what I use for DS bday party in late OCT and then xmas money too. So by the end of the year most of it is gone, but hey..ive paid for the bday and xmas with cash and wont have bills in January.

last year I had a few hundred left in there b/c I would try to put any xtra $$ when I could and we have a small family to buy for at xmas..so its manageable.
