Dress for the first day of Kindergarten
DD starts kindergarten this year and I want to get her a pretty but practical dress for the first day.
I usually shop at Kohls and Target but haven't really seen anything that screams first day of school.
Any suggestions?
Pictures would be great!

There was some really cute ones at Carters. I went to the outlet in Bellport and found some nice stuff for my DD (she's 6).

I think DD's first day of K dress was from Carter's too.
Or Osh Kosh.
We did the outlets right before school started and I got it from one of those.
Just make sure it's not too "fall". It's SOOO hot when they go back and some schools have no AC.
Her dress was fall color (olive green) but short sleeves

My DD wore a dress from Gymboree last year for the first day if kindergarten. They have great accessories too which make for a really cute outfit.

Believe it or not, i saw some really cute one's at kmart. I'll probablynget dd's first day of school dress there. Shes starting k too!

I've gotten a lot of back to school clothes for DD at Nordstrom rack, they have great stuff. I know u said u looked at target but I was just there and they have a new line out, Cat and Jack that's very cute. I got DD a dress from that line.

Though it is an expensive line, I buy a few things every year from Boden (when they have a sale).
The quality is fantastic and DD ends up wearing non stop for the season...

Just picked up a Cat and Jack dress at Target by chance last night. Wasn't even looking.
But it's SOOO cute. It's plaid, but short sleeve and very light weight since it will be hot.

I got one from that line too. Really cute and comfy in a nice fall color. I was surprised how inexpensive the stuff was too, I'm in trouble if I run into a good sale anytime soon!
