Anyone else's kid super out of sorts from the heat?
I'm very sensitive t this type of heat - even if I wasn't pregnant. The last few days DS (almost 3) has been off. I can't pinpoint it. He'll start the day fine, but by the afternoon he gets clingy, lethargic a bit, and just not himself. I'm making sure he's drinking, he's been in the pool a few times, staying mostly indoors. We even went to the doctor Friday because he said he didn't feel well and was so not himself. I just picked him up from camp and they said he was totally fine, but he got weepy when we got into the car and again just doesn't seem like himself. I don't know what to do! Should I chalk it up to heat and just try to push through? I'm getting concerned...

Yes - DS has totally been the same. I physically cannot stand the heat and he is much the same, he runs very hot internally. He is fine in the morning but by the afternoon he is cranky, clingy and sleepy. We try to keep him hydrated, cool, and let him sleep as much as he needs.

Yes my 18 month old is having a hard time the past few days. I love the heat but I think I have to be more careful with him being out too much.

My three year old has been nothing short of torturous to be around! I think she's had enough of the heat, being cooped up, and misses school (she and I are both home for summer).

My son has woken up in the middle of the night the last couple of nights to ask for water. Like 3, 4 AM. And he drinks water all day. Very unlike him.

Exactly the same for me. DD was especially difficult today at the Aquarium. Our visit included her falling off a booth seat and busting her lip

We went to an outdoor party on Sunday and dd was so weepy and didn't seem like her usual self when we got home. I had made sure she drank a lot of water while at the party and when we got home she guzzled down two sippy cups full, but she still woke up during the night to ask for water.
